Chris has spent over 22 years in the power industry, building deep expertise across the full range of substation disciplines. The First 18 years were field-based, working in transmission as a 400kV Senior Authorised Person and Advanced TP141 Commissioning Engineer.

Then moving into HV design, becoming authorised as Lead Contractor Design Approval and Design Assurance Engineer. He has continued to work across transmission, gaining expereince in distribution and generation, including the wind farm and BESS renewable Sector.

Chris now heads up Iris HV Engineering , a company built around an extensive network of quality engineering relationships forged over years in the industry - covering all aspects f HV design and commissioning, including system operator interface and grid compliance consultancy.
